ART AND PRACTICE.

Yeseniia's art is anchored in themes of war, displacement, survival and memory. Her work transforms her lived experiences and those of others affected by the war into visual language.

Working across painting, drawing and miniature model-making she builds small-scale yet powerful visual stories. Her work tries to convey what it feels like to lose everything: childhood, home, life. A prime example is 2024 miniature model titled "Stripped of Everything" that was part of the group exhibition at Palace of Westminster in London, UK.

The piece is a haunting depiction of Ukrainian cities devastated by the war, highlighting the contrast between before and after: ruined residential areas, a burnt-out van marked "Children" remembering those who tried to escape, a broken playground symbolizing lost childhoods.

Through her art, Yeseniia aims to give voice to those who had no say, to remind the world of the innocent lives affected and to preserve memory before it's lost. Her practice is not just personal - it's a call to awareness, empathy and remembrance. It's art that refuses silence.
