Through the Ruins is an immersive walk-through miniature city installation that explores war, displacement and refugee experience. It will be presented at Freedom Festival 2026, Hull.
Move through the darkness to find lit scenes depicting a city ravaged by war and the devastation to its infrastructure. Houses, streets, parks and playgrounds left in ruins highlight the impact of war, but what's left unspoken is the true loss - life itself.
